Pax Environmental Science Institute
An educational opportunity for students aged 13-17. Each session is held outdoors in the Ojai Valley, where students can explore environmental topics such as Birding, Marine Biology, and Botany with Pax Environmental scientists in hands-on experiences.

12 high school students will be selected for Pax Environmental Science Institute (PESI) Spring 2024 Program.
The program will run for 8 weeks every Saturday from 9am-11am
March 23, 2024 - May 17, 2024
No meeting Saturday April 6th (Nordhoff Spring Break)
Suggested donation $150 (scholarships available!)
All prospective applicants must be commit to attending at least 6 of 8 sessions to be eligible for the program

May 4 – Nursery Management @ Ojai Meadows Preserve with OVLC/Sophie McLean
May 12 – Marine Biology @ Rincon Beach with Pax Marine Biologist Patrice Ringelstein
May 17 – Field Art @ Ventura River Preserve (Rice Rd Trailhead) with Author Obi Kaufman
