Environmental Youth Council

This Fall, the Green Valley Project Youth Council is putting youth voices into action. Across Ventura County, students (ages 13–20) are leading hands-on restoration and conservation projects that bring communities together, restore native habitats, and inspire youth environmental leadership.

Our Fall Projects by City

Ojai

The Ojai Youth Council will continue the work started last Spring, bringing the Ojai Valley School Upper Campus Garden closer to completion. Members will help to install the garden, add educational elements like signs and plant markers, and design pathways to make the space welcoming and accessible. Along the way, youth will take on leadership roles, organize two community planting events, and gain valuable volunteer experience while making a lasting impact on their community.
